This week, Auditor General Amyas Morse said the Government should ‘decide what is essential and what is not’ in their current portfolio of major projects. Whilst he wouldn’t be drawn on which projects should get the boot, it was telling that the only project he mentioned twice in his speech was HS2. Here’s the highlights of what he said.
