This week, Auditor General Amyas Morse said the Government should ‘decide what is essential and what is not’ in their current portfolio of major projects. Whilst he wouldn’t be drawn on which projects should get the boot, it was telling that the only project he mentioned twice in his speech was HS2. Here’s the highlights of what he said.
@BBCRichardMoss
Word on #HS2 from Shadow Transport Secretary after Shadow Business Secretary yesterday said he’d campaign against it
Andy McDonald MP @AndyMcDonaldMP
Labour policy on HS2 is unchanged. We will continue to hold the Government to account on keeping within budget and to the assurances given.
More MP garbage
What budget and what assurances??
