Please persuade your MP and local parties to change the manifesto commitment to HS2 to your more pressing needs.
HS2 is diverting valuable expenditure away from more important needs from now to 2022 please.
I think a better tactic is to get the politicians to delay the construction so money can be diverted into health and education etc. in the next few years and save a lot of administrative effort which would be a diversion from Brexit. This approach saves the political embarrassment of a cancellation and after a couple of years; I doubt in the middle of Brexit, anyone will be interested in HS2.
How can we educate the people who don’t know what devastation could occur if this is not stopped?
