You know, the one the former chief engineer said would lead to the creation of a new city between Birmingham and Coventry. Residents in Buckinghamshire are calling on HS2 Ltd CEO to come and explain what exactly is the need for starting to clear 250 acres of wildlife habitats, which includes part of a nature reserve, right at the start of nesting season. Given that there is still no design for what is meant to be going on the land, and the chances of HS2 getting cancelled altogether, they may well have a point…..
