Hartwell House Open Day

The National Trust is concerned about impact of HS2 on several of its’ properties, including Hartwell House, Waddesdon Manor and Claydon House.

Here’s a report from their Open Day on Thursday 6th September 2012.

  1. I went to this event and was surprised to hear them say they are having regular confidential meetings with HS2 engineers to get the route moved away from Hartwell House and Waddesdon House. This can only mean moving it nearer to Aylesbury and Quainton. The last time they met HS2 they got it moved nearly 90 yards nearer to me!
