Recently I’ve been reading about the Northern Hub rail scheme, a plan to massively improve rail services in the north of England, joining Philip Hammond’s “Great Northern Cities” into one economic entity
Last week Insider Media said “The coalition has confirmed that it wants to press ahead and build a high-speed Y-shaped link from London to the North. However, the Northern Hub plan is potentially far more significant in terms of the economic growth of Yorkshire and the region’s relationship with Manchester.”
We’ll be watching with interest.
