Minister visiting HS2 afflicted area on Wednesday

As we told you some time ago, Philip Hammond has plans to visit the area afflicted by HS2. On Wednesday he will be visiting places at the north end of the proposed line, for a series of private meetings.  He is willing to pose with photographers, but will he face the general public?

In the morning he will follow some of the route of the line.  At lunchtime he will be at the University of Warwick, where he will see Jeremy Wright, MP for Kenilworth and Southam.

Then he will travel to Brackley for a meeting with Andrea Leadsom, MP for South Northamptonshire and Tony Baldry, MP for Banbury.

Following this meeting, there will be a press conference at the Crown Hotel in Brackley, and then Andrea Leadsom is arranging a public meeting at Brackley Town Hall at 5-6pm.

If you live near the proposed route, please make sure you are displaying as many posters in windows etc as possible –  STOP HS2 A3 Poster, A4 Poster and A4 (landscape) Poster for download.
