Following last years’ success in winning the title of English Tree of the Year, the poster-boy for all our threatened ancient woodland, the Cubbington Pear is competing for the European title. Voting lasts until 29th February.
You can vote for it from this page.

It would be great if you could share these links via Twitter,Facebook and Google Plus
With this being an international competition where anyone anywhere in the world can vote, we hope you might be able to pass on the appeal to anyone you think might be interested. We have several translations into other languages, with a Greek translation just uploaded:
French: VOILÀ POURQUOI VOTER POUR UN ARBRE C’EST AUSSI VOTER CONTRE LES MÉGAPROJETS INUTILES!
German: WENN SIE DIESEN BAUM WÄHLEN, DANN SIND SIE GEGEN UNSINNIGE MEGAPROJEKTE! WARUM?
Italian: ECCO PERCHÉ UN VOTO PER UN ALBERO È UN VOTO CONTRO LE GRANDI OPERE INUTILI!
Romanian: DE CE UN VOT PENTRU UN COPAC INSEAMNĂ UN VOT ÎMPOTRIVA UNOR MEGA PROIECTE INUTILE!
Spanish: POR QUÉ UN VOTO A FAVOR DE UN ÁRBOL ES UN VOTO EN CONTRA DE MEGAPROYECTOS INÚTILES
Thank you to everyone who translated these for us. With a week to go (well just over) it would be great to get some more translations. We are especially interested in Turkish and Portuguese at this point, but any others would be welcome. If you can help, please email info@stophs2.org .
