As Transport Secretary hits the road, here’s what happened last time.

Much to the surprise of many, according to the Nottingham Post, Transport Secretary Patrick McLoughlin will be holding a surgery for people whose homes are affected by HS2 at Strelley Hall, just outside Nottingham on January 13th from 9.30am. You can book appointments by calling 0115 943 6507.

What isn’t known at this stage is whether this will herald the start of a series of meetings along the Phase 2 route of HS2. This is the first time a Transport Secretary has tried to engage with the people directly affected by HS2 for over three years.
