Today’s featured video is from May, looking at the HS2 Bills that were in the Queen’s speech. The paving bill (High Speed Rail (Preparation) Bill) covered by the video is due to be debated on Wednesday. It’s now clear that the Bill really is about writing a blank cheque, not simply “smoothing” the way for the railway.
