High Speed on Radio 4’s Today program

Friday’s Today program on Radio 4 featured interviews with people whose homes and livelihoods will be negatively impacted by HS2.   The centre line of the proposed route is 70m from Gary Eastman’s home.  The farm buildings on David Wright’s dairy farm will be cut off from his land and herds: he will probably have to get his cows through a single crossing twice a day.  Christopher Prideaux’s ancient oak woodland hosts an important collection of butterflies.

You will be able to listen to it here until next Friday.
