Residents in Buckinghamshire are calling on HS2 Ltd CEO to come and explain what exactly is the need for starting to clear 250 acres of wildlife habitats, which includes part of a nature reserve, right at the start of nesting season. Given that there is still no design for what is meant to be going on the land, and the chances of HS2 getting cancelled altogether, they may well have a point…..

Spend the HS2 Money in the North says Aylesbury Question Time Audience

Wigan MP Lisa Nandy said she couldn’t justify HS2 to her constituents, Jacob Rees-Mogg MP said he would cancel it immediately, and with the exception of just one person there was no love for HS2 on Valentines Day, as the BBC Question Time audience in Aylesbury said the money earmarked for it should be spent in the North instead.
