Today is the last chance to vote for the Cubbington Pear Tree, in the European Tree of the Year Competition. Last year, it won English Tree of the year and became a symbol, not only of all the ancient woodland threatened by HS2, but all the woodland under threat from development. We’ve been working with our European partners to try and help it become that same symbol across Europe. This is our last push for votes, as voting closes at 11pm tonight, Monday 29th February.
