Bucks Advertiser: (Denham) Walk the HS2 affected area

PEOPLE will get a chance to see exactly how HS2 will affect the area they live in by taking part in a protest walk.

The Denham Against HS2 action group is hosting a walk on Sunday, April 14 from Denham Grove Hotel, in Tilehouse Lane, which will take in some of the area which will be hit if the controversial rail line is built.

Staffs against HS2: Canal Walk and Update Meeting – Great Haywood

We are hoping to set up a HS2 Route walk in the summer but we need the permission of the land owners first. So to allow people to get behind the local Stop HS2 project we plan an open day between 11.00am and 3.30pm on Saturday April 27th 2013.

For those who fancy a walk through the countryside first we plan to gather at the overflow carpark at Wolsey Bridge, then follow the route above along the canals to Great Haywood Memorial Hall.

THE Prime Minister has assured a council leader that a tunnel alternative will be included in an HS2 environmental impact consultation.

David Cameron confirmed the Chiltern Ridges Action Group’s (CRAG) suggestion for an underground tunnel through the Chilterns would be included in HS2 Ltd’s Environmental Impact Assessment consultation.
