Happy Easter and a long document to read

The Stop HS2 team would like to wish all our readers a Happy Easter.

For those who would like to get their teeth into a long and technical document, the Department for Transport have recently issued the  Consultation on Draft Scope and Methodology document for the Environmental Impact Assessment – for details, and to download the document see here.

  1. Opened the document hoping to find some info. It’s all classic DfT diatribe. It doesn’t actually say anything. On the list of consultees it doesn’t even list Charndon PC. Charndon is responsible for part of Calvert, one of the worst affected communities. Yet another classic example of their lack of attention to detail and loose slapdash ‘seen to be doing’ .But of course they really do care!
