Money- we desperately need it! Please HELP!

The STOP HS2 campaign is run by volunteers and relies on individual contributions. Here are various ways you can donate, but you can also give us money without noticing it, just by using a search engine or buying shopping online and paying the same price you would normally do via the links at the bottom.

You can pay directly into the bank account Lloyds-TSB, Sort Code 30-94-93, Account no, 34934760 or email us at info@stophs2.org for more information about helping.

If you would like to make a regular payment to Stop HS2 (that’s a lot better for us!), it could be as little as £1 per week, below is a standing order form with the Stop HS2 bank account details entered in. All you need to do say how often and how much you want to pay and take it to your bank. Please fill it in and post it to the address above.

Stop HS2 have teamed up with easy fundraising to make it easy for you to raise money for Stop HS2. First off there is the Stop HS2 easysearch web page at http://stophs2.easysearch.org.uk/. Every time you search the web with the easysearch page registered to Stop HS2 instead of Google, Yahoo or whoever, you’ll raise funds for Stop HS2. It works out about half a penny a go, but that could easily work out at about £20 per year just from YOU, effectively by doing next to nothing. You can even add easy search onto the search bar in your browser window by clicking http://stophs2.easysearch.org.uk/faq/# Please try it out!

Also you can help Stop HS2 to raise money whenever you shop online. It’s very simple – just visit http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/stophs2/ to register and shop with over 2000 well known retailers.

You pay the same price as you would have done (and can still save money with special offers and voucher codes), AND Stop HS2 gets a donation from the retailer. How cool is that? All the biggest online retailers are there of course, like Amazon, eBay, e-harmony, Napster, Expedia & iTunes as are the biggest high-street retailers like ASDA, Sainsburys, Dixons, Comet, Currys, Argos, BHS, Mamas & Papas, Mothercare, BBC Shop, Sky, Skype, HMV, PC World, Blockbuster, Love Film, Confused.com, Dyson, DreamsHarveys, Halfords, H M Samuel, Iceland, JJB, Jessops, John Lewis, Waitrose (wine direct), Pets at home, Screwfix, Pizza Hut, Reebok, Peacocks, Wickes, Which?, Weight Watchers, Legal & General, Interflora, Clarks, Waterstones, Matalan, Nike, NPower, British Gas, BT, Aviva and even Tractorland.

If you’re out and about over the summer there’s the RAC, AA, Green Flag, Ticketmaster, Walt Disney World Travel, The Dungeons (London, York, Edinburgh, etc), Legoland and many more places to go. You might want to get there on East Midlands or Southwest Trains, (or any train company via the likes of thetrainline and raileasy), P&O Ferries and yes, even Eurotunnel and rail Europe! To see a list of all retailers, use the link on the Stop HS2 landing page at http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/stophs2/.

Some retailers even make a donations just for registering, so please see the ‘free funds’ link once you have registered. Please remember to register and put this page in your favourites. Whenever you buy something, the retailer makes a donation to Stop HS2. This has helped other causes raise over £2,000,000 so it really does work (please note; donations can take up to 30 days to process).

Please forward this information onto your friends who support Stop HS2. Please, this will make a real difference to Stop HS2 and tthe work we are able to do. Take a look at easyfundraising today – http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/stophs2/

Thanks for your support, The STOP HS2 Team
