HS2 Consultation Deadline Tomorrow

A Stop HS2 supporter was sent the following advice from HS2 Ltd about sending in her consultation response.

“Further to our earlier telephone conversation today, I am emailing you to confirm that the deadline for consultation responses is Friday 29 July.

“You may also wish to know that:

  • The consultation period ends at midnight on 29 July; all responses must be sent by/on that date.
  • Postal responses will only be accepted if they are postmarked 29 July 2011.
  • Electronic responses sent after midnight on 29 July will not be accepted.
  • To avoid confusion and guarantee that responses are included in the process, we would advise people to submit responses by midday on 29 July at the latest, if at all possible.”

You’ve very little time left to respond to the consultation: don’t leave it until it’s too late.

  1. I think you mean ‘very limited suffering of the few’ for the benefit of the many. This is emotive language you are using which is not backed up by the facts.

  2. HS2 makes no financial sense to a small country when it’s own infrastructure is crumbling. The schools and the health system for starters. Conservation areas will never recover. Only a very few may benefit, the already rich wil profit from the suffering of the many. Stop HS2.
