HS2 fails in most of its aims say independent transport experts

After a independent transport experts release a report that damns HS2, BBC Radio Manchester’s Sam Walker interviews Stop HS2’s Joe Rukin. From May 26th 2016.

  1. There is more than the aims that are not met. Affordability and contributions to regional and local commuting were not met.

    Neither were the interfacing issues to chronic requirements in and approaching London.

    There was opportunity to determine a more fulfilling route and stations missed.
