After HS2 Ltd and the DfT released ‘big’ maps of the revised route of the northern section of HS2 on Sept 14th, these maps showing the DETAILED route (at the same scale of the originals) were released on the 16th.
The page of the DfT website which these come from says “The attached maps supersede High Speed 2’s recommendations for the relevant sections of the route published in March. Any section of the preferred route in this section remains unchanged.” I’m not trying to be awkward (or thick), but isn’t that saying one thing in the first sentence, and then saying something completely different in the next sentence?
