Greens and UKIP on HS2

With both UKIP and the Greens picking up votes because of HS2, here are a couple of interviews with the leaders of the two parties.

The country is skint and can not afford the cost of the HS2 national high-speed rail link, Ukip leader Nigel Farage has said.

In a BBC Radio 4 interview about housing, Natalie Bennett, Leader of the Green Party, cites HS2 as one expense that could be saved to help the housing crisis.

One comment to “Greens and UKIP on HS2”
  1. Both very worthy articles. It is refreshing to see those dissenting to this farcical project being given airtime rather than the three main parties who are fully complicit in allowing its progress despite the will of the electorate. Thank you for sharing something which I might have been otherwise unaware of.
