HS2 committee meet today

The High Speed Rail (London – West Midlands) Bill Select Committee are meeting today to hear representations on its broad timetabling of evidence over the coming months.

Joe Rukin from Stop HS2 and Hilary Wharf (HS2AA) will be appearing in front of the committee at around 11.00am. Details of other witnesses are here.

You can watch the proceedings on the Parliament Live website, or follow their twitter feed here.

With HS2 supporters, Birmingham City Council and Centro asking that the committee does not start by hearing evidence from them, as they are only just getting information they need from HS2 Ltd, things could get interesting.
