Extinction and Gridlock, just two of the impacts of HS2

As the Phase 2 Environmental Statement Consultation came to an end, the criticism of the project carried on, just the same as it always has. Here are two reports, showing two different sides of the impact of the project, the human cost and the impact on wildlife.

  1. We have seen the devastation caused by the current building of the new high speed line from Paris to Bordeaux. It is horrific and we do not want HS2 here where there is even less land to play with. What good will HS2 do for us in the North East? Our lines here need major updating
